Shibori is having its moment of fame in today’s fashion world. Learn this ancient Japanese technique of fabric dyeing so you too can add a new piece of fashion too your wardrobe. 

Ms. Dudek will demonstrate two basic Shibori techniques: Arashi and Kumo in which students will then create two silk scarves. Enjoy experimenting with a wide array of colors where the results are limitless and the pieces you create will be a unique surprise. 

Have fun in this casual and relaxed environment with individual guidance. No previous experience is necessary. Fairchild will provide the material and the dyes to make two 11”x60” scarves; an additional supply list will be sent upon registration.
